여행 수요 확대 및 관광시장 활성화 앞장인천-푸켓 정기노선 취항, 중국, 방콕, 오사카, 코타키나발루 증편 운항

이스타항공이 국제선 정기노선 신규 취항과 기존 노선 증편 운항을 진행한다.
이스타항공은 인천-푸켓 정기노선(주7회)을 지난 7월20일부로 시작했다.
이를 기념해 7월 20일 인천국제공항에서 이스타항공 김정식 대표, 최종구 부사장 및 임직원들이 참석한 가운데 푸켓 정기노선 취항식 행사를 진행했다.
이스타항공은 푸켓 신규 취항을 통해 한국 관광객들의 동남아 주요 여행지인 방콕, 코타키나발루, 푸켓 정기노선 3곳을 상시 운항하게 되었다.
기존 노선의 확대 증편 운항도 진행한다.
인천-오사카 노선은 8월30일까지 주7회에서 주19회로, 인천-코타키나발루 노선도 8월24일까지 주4회에서 주7회로 증편 운항되며 , 인천-방콕 노선은 8월30일까지 주7회에서 주21회로 대폭 확대 운항한다. 메르스 여파로 6월 말부터 일부 중단되었던 중국 정기노선을 7월21일부터 재운항하여 방한 중국관광객 증대에 앞장선다.
인천-제남(주2회), 청주-상해(주2회), 연길(주4회), 대련(주2회), 하얼빈(주2회) 노선은 기존 스케줄에 맞추어 운항하며, 청주-심양은 주3회에서 주7회(Daily)로 확대 운항하여 총6곳의 중국 정기노선을 운항한다.

Eastar Jet is introducing new international regular routes as well as increasing the number of its flights to existing routes.
Eastar Jet began operating the Incheon-Phuket regular flight (7 flights a week) on the 20th of July.
A ceremony was held on the 20th of July at Incheon International Airport to commemorate the regular route to Phuket. It was attended by Eastar Jet CEO Kim Jung-Shik, vice-president Choi Jong-Gu, and many other company employees.
With this new route to Phuket, Eastar Jet now has regular flights to three places in Southeast Asia that are major destinations for Korean tourists: Bangkok, Kota Kinabalu, and Phuket.
The numbers of flights for existing routes have also been increased.
The Incheon-Osaka route will increase from 7 weekly flights to 19 until the 30th of August, the Incheon-Kota Kinabalu route will increase from 4 weekly flights to 7 until the 24th of August, and the Incheon-Bangkok route will increase from 7 weekly flights to 21 until the 30th of August. 
Regular flights to China that had been partially suspended from the end of June due to MERS shall be reinstated from the 21st of July to lead the way in increasing the number of Chinese tourists visiting Korea.
The route from Incheon to Jinan (2 flights a week) and the routes from Cheongju to Shanghai (2 flights a week), Yanji (4 flights a week), Dalian (2 flights a week), and Harbin (2 flights a week) shall operate according to the previous schedules, while the route from Cheongju to Shenyang has been expanded from 3 flights a week to 7 (daily flight), making it 6 places in China where Eastar Jet operates regular routes.
