이스타항공, 대한적십자사 전북지사와 사회공헌 업무협약 체결!

항공사 인프라 활용, 국 내외 지점 및 임직원 참여사회적 약자 지원, 재난구호활동, 취약계층 지원 공동 활동

이스타항공이 대한적십자사 전북지사와 사회공헌 업무협약을 체결했다.
이스타항공과 대한적십자사 전북지사는 지난 7월 14일 전주 대한적십자사 전북지사 사무실
에서 이스타항공 최종구 부사장과 대한적십자사 전북지사 김광호 회장 및 관계자들이 참석
한 가운데 사회공헌활동 및 양기관의 상호 협력을 내용으로 하는 협약식을 가졌다.
이번 협약식을 통해 양기관은 향후 사회적 약자 지원, 기부문화 확산, 재난 시 구호활동 지원,
취약계층 지원 행사 임직원 참여, 홍보활동 지원 등을 공동으로 진행할 예정이다.
대한적십자사 전북지사는 재난 발생에 따른 긴급구조기관으로서의 신속한 구호활동과 저소
득 대상 지원, 적십자 봉사원을 통한 다양한 사회봉사활동 전개 및 청소년적십자활동(RCY)을 통해 사랑과 봉사, 나눔문화를 확산시키는데 앞장서고 있다.
이스타항공은 지난 5월 제주지역독거노인 초청 어버이날 행사 지원과 임직원 참여 복지관
및 보호시설 사회공헌 활동을 지속적으로 진행하고 있으며, 향후 해외 취항 지역의 사회공헌
활동으로 영역을 확대해 나갈 예정이다.

Easter Jet has entered into a social contribution work agreement with the Jeollabuk-do branch office of the Korea National Red Cross.
Eastar Jet and the Korea National Red Cross held a signing ceremony on the 14th of July in the Korea National Red Cross, Jeollabuk-do branch office. The ceremony was attended by Eastar Jet’s vice-president, Choi Jong-gu, the president of the Korea National Red Cross Jeollabuk-do branch office, Kim Gwang-Ho, and other parties concerned with the social contribution activities and the mutual cooperation between the two organizations regarding the signed agreement.
Through this agreement, the two organizations expect to jointly engage in supporting socially disadvantaged groups, spreading a culture of giving, supporting relief activities during disasters, having employees participate in events supporting vulnerable social groups, supporting PR activities, and many other activities.
As an emergency relief organization in the event of a disaster, the Korea National Red Cross leads the way in supporting relief activities and low-income targets and, through their volunteers, engages in a wide range of social volunteer works and spreads a culture of sharing, love, and volunteering through the activities of the Red Cross Youth (RCY ).
Since last May, Eastar Jet has continued to engage in social contribution activities such as inviting Jeju Island senior citizens who live alone to a Parents’ Day event as well as our employees helping out in welfare centers and shelters. We also plan to expand our territory in which we engage in social contribution activities to overseas locations where we operate flight routes.
